When laundering fleece items, wash items inside-out on the gentle cycle using the cold or warm wash and rinse. If you place your fleece item in the dryer (rather than hanging to air dry), set the dryer at its lowest setting and remove promptly when the cycle isdone.

Can fleece be ironed? Polyester tends to melt when ironedand fleece tends to mat, so any wrinkles that can be removed without heat should be. You can iron polyester fleece when necessary, but you should not try to use more heat than recommended to speed up the process. Iron the fleece carefully to avoid burning or melting the polyester.

Can you use fabric softener on fleece blanket? It is best notto wash them with other clothes, wash fleece blankets with their likes and best if combined with similar colors. Fabric softeners are not advised to be used because they will damage the material. Use gentle cycle and rinse the blankets one more time.

Should fleece be washed inside out? Washing guidelines: Sweatshirts are low-maintenance, but fleece deserves extra care. To keep the nap smooth and soft (that is—not crunchy, static-y, orpilled), turn the garment inside out and wash it with like colors and without linty items, like towels. Rinse twice so there's no detergent residue. Air-dry.

Why is there no fabric softener on fleece? Fleece is warm because the fibers form lots of little air pockets. As I understand it, the fabric softener closes up some of the air pockets, making the_fleece less warm to wear.
