Peel off the protective layer and place the adhesive with the nonsticky side on the floor at a point where the corners of four adjoining squares meet. Match the corners of the squares so they meet on top of the adhesive. Press firmly to adhere. Repeat until all the squares are-joined.

Can you lay carpet tiles without adhesive? Carpet tile can be installed without adhesive so long as they are fitted snugly against the four walls andthreshold molding is used across any door opening.

What is carpet seaming tape? The carpet seaming tape is a single-sided tape that is used to hold 2 pieces of carpet together. It sounds like you may need one of our double-sided carpettapes.

Can you put Flor tiles on carpet? FLOR should NOT be installed over carpeting or padding*, floors with hand painted or vintage varnish finish, unfinished waxed floors or outdoors. Installation of FLOR over a soft subfloor or existing carpeting orrugs will cause the tiles to separate when weight is applied to the surface.

How do you connect carpet tiles together? Place one full tile on top of the last tile at the end of each row and column. Push each of these tiles out until they touch the baseboard. Turn each tile over, and use a carpenter's edge to draw a straight line at the point where it begins to overlap the tile underneath.
