The unconscious mind is areservoir of feelings, thoughts, urges, and memories that are outside of our conscious awareness. The unconscious contains contents that are unacceptable or unpleasant, such as feelings of pain, anxiety, or conflict.

How long can you be unconscious for? What are the long term effects of being knocked unconscious? It depends on the severity of the injury. If you lose consciousness briefly, and suffer a concussion, 75 to 90 percent of people will fully recover in a few months. But severe damage to the brain can cause unconsciousness for days, weeks, or evenlonger.

Can emotions be unconscious? Unconscious emotions lack the key feature of consciousness. The absence of consciousness can come in the form of (1) unawareness of the stimulus eliciting the emotion or (2)-unawareness of the emotion itself, producing an emotion that is not subjectively felt.

What is ID example? Freud referred to the id as the reservoir of psychic energy. It only consists of our basic biological needs. To eat, sleep, defecate, etc The id is only a primary process thinker, so it is primitive, irrational, and illogical. Example: Jack is walking down the street and he is veryhungry.
